Young Learners Christian Academy was born from a simple, prayerful conviction — that every child deserves to be nurtured in love and prepared for purpose.
Our Story
In 2003, I said yes to a calling.
I opened my home to a few families in need of safe, loving childcare. There was no big plan—just a heart to serve and a deep belief that every child is created with purpose.
What started small quickly began to grow. Not because of advertising, but because parents could feel the difference. Children were prayed over, nurtured with patience, and encouraged daily. They left more confident, more secure, and more aware of who they were.
By 2011, that small beginning had outgrown my living room.
With faith, prayer, and the support of the Monroe community, Young Learners Christian Academy was born. While the space grew, the heart behind it never changed. We remained committed to creating a place where children feel safe, loved, and valued every single day.
Today, Young Learners is more than a childcare center—it is a family legacy.
Many of the children who once sat in our classrooms are now bringing their younger siblings—and even their own children—through our doors. That level of trust is something we do not take lightly.
Our mission is simple: To partner with families in nurturing the gifts, confidence, and purpose inside every child—spiritually, emotionally, and academically.
